Nice staff, very light roasted, high-acid coffee (I asked for a dark Italian roast!) - if that's your taste it's probably good.

Nice little cafe for coffee and cake. Currently everything to take away under conditions free of hassles. Coffee (beans or ground) can also be purchased with competent and friendly advice.

Flat whites and filter coffees are my favorites there - and of course the cheesecake !! - nice, if usually a bit taciturn service ;-) - the coffee beans are also recommended in any case, as they are also offered fresh for sale in any degree of grinding. For a short time now they have also been roasting themselves.

The cappuccino was okay but a bit bitter. That was certainly not due to the quality of the coffee, but more to the preparation or the machine. Unfortunately, banana bread and lemon cake were both very dry. So nice little café with charm but there is still room for improvement.

Super cute little shop, now with a larger outdoor area. The coffee is roasted and ground on site. Great service, creatively thought out and very community oriented.

Very nice cafe with a modern feel. Even in Corona times. For this purpose, an outside area was created because there are not many spaces available inside due to the distance rules. The coffee is a bit too weak for me personally so that I prefer other cafes. This is of course a matter of taste, so test it and make your own opinion. In any case, you can tell that the owners run this café with passion and have been roasting beans themselves for some time. Accordingly, these are also sold here.

The coffee was delicious, but not the absolute satisfaction. I like it strong, normal coffee was a bit too thin for that. The service was very nice. Will ask for more oomph next time, that's definitely doable;)

Really cool idea to open a hip café in Essen which can definitely keep up with the great third wave cafés in big cities! Two nice owners very open and dynamic ... the roasted coffee is a bit too expensive because you get sca scored coffee for the same price!

A very cool shop run by people who really have a clue! Very nice owners who make incredibly good coffee with their craft and sell it to the people - what more could you want ?! The coffee tastes amazingly good and is roasted the way it should be roasted. Delicious varieties and as a bonus they also have any kind of plant-based milk that is available under the sun. Definitely become a new regular customer!

Best coffee bar in Essen, absolutely recommended! Guys love their job and know how to do it. Top flat white and brewed coffee, and a few good cakes too (start with the cheesecake). They use beans primarily from Tim & Sebastian's roastery in Cologne (who are now producing "Bohnenkartell" branded blends as well), but also feature beans from a guest roastery every month —buy and try! Hipster ambiance inside, a few seats under the sun outside.

If you are looking for contemporary, very good coffee in Essen, this is the place. Coffee is everywhere, really high quality coffee only here. Small cafe, various snacks, personal atmosphere and incredibly nice owners.
